We actually purchased the fig tree a...Thanks Holly. We actually purchased the fig tree at the Mount Vernon estate plant sale. Fig trees are indigenous to this area. We were told by the two horticulturists that work there that they are fairly easy to grow, they just need tons of sun. In the few short weeks we have had it it has grown some and I can see little fig buds starting to form.
