Friday Favorites: Halloween/Fall Movies, Organized Closet, Post COVID Coast, Trader Joe's Gluten Free Pumpkin Bread, and Caramel Dip

Welcome to the weekend Besties. We are only a few days into October but so far I am loving it. How about you?

As we settle into this early October weekend, I am linking-up with Erika and Andrea for Friday Favorites and sharing what is bringing me Joy this week. This list is heavy on the fall feels so I hope you are ready.

1. Halloween/Fall movies

All of the Halloween-themed movies kicked off this past weekend and we were loving them in our house. We watched the original Halloween which is a favorite in our house and then caught the end of Halloween from 2018.

Switching gears we also watched the original Hocus Pocus and it is always fun. I am not sure that Running Daddy had ever really seen it before the other night. Has anyone seen the new one? I am hearing mixed reviews. We also watched Halloweentown which is also a favorite in our house.

I am also loving all of the fall Hallmark movies. Right after the Christmas movies, the fall movies are my other favorites. Last weekend, I was working on some fall decorating and had a Hallmark movie on. Hockey Guy walked out, looked at the tv and said "is this the one with the dads who secretly play golf together." Yes, this is how many times I have watched Pumpkin Pie Wars that the high schooler can easily recognize it. If you have not seen this one, it is on demand on Hallmark right now and it is one of my fall favorites.

2. My Organized Closet

Besties, I did not take a before because I didn't expect to start organizing my closet last weekend. Trust me, it was bad. It really didn't take long to reorganize because I already had all of the organization tools in there, I just needed the time and motivation. It still needs some work, but I feel so much Better when I open the closet door.

3. Post-COVID Coast

I have been feeling Better for about ten days or so. One thing that I have noticed is that I really have the ability and mindset to just do things on my own time and my own terms. I am sleeping Better and my anxiety is really in check. I am getting a lot of things done but I feel like I am able to coast a little and it's nice.

4. Trader Joe's Gluten Free Pumpkin Bread Mix

This pumpkin bread mix has probably been on my Friday Favorites list way more than once. I typically buy four boxes each time I go to Trader Joe's when it is in season. It's so Good and trust me, you want to try this with white chocolate chips. White chocolate with pumpkin is a very underrated combination.

5. T. Marzetti Caramel Dip

This is another fall item I have enjoyed for years, maybe even decades. I really love the single-serve ones because of the portion control. While I think people would typically have this with apple, my favorite combo is to have this in the afternoon with a pear. In the Good Better Best household, we are pear people. Pear with caramel is a winning combination. Trust me on this one Besties.

Thanks for stopping by on this fall Friday. I hope you have the Best weekend.

    1. Cristina, they also make a version that is not gluten free so you can look for that if you don't need the gfree version. I make these every weekend.
