Friday Favorites: Best Trader Joe's Rose', Last Dance, Hair Salt Scrub, At Home Grey Hair Hack, Best Hand Soap Scent

Happy Mother's Day by Heather Stillufsen | Heather stillufsen ...

Hey Besties! It's darn chilly around here but we made it to Friday. As we head into Mother's Day weekend,  I am linking up with ErikaAndreaNarci to share what is bringing me Joy this week.

1) Emma Reichart Rose' from Trader Joe's

Trader Joe's Emma Reichart Rosé ($5) — Editors' Pick!

Seriously, this rose' is so Good. During my Safe at Home Birthday my sweet friend Dina brought me this bottle of wine. She said she really liked it and told me to tell her what I thought of it. Running Daddy and I opened it last weekend and thought it was so Good. It's light and crisp and even though Running Daddy is pretty indifferent on rose' he really liked this one. When I Googled it to see where we could buy another bottle, I was so pleasantly surprised to find out it was a Trader Joe's wine and at the Best price point. Apparently this is one of Trader Joe's value wines. Yes please! On my next trip to Trader Joe's I will be stocking up.  Hopefully they will have it in inventory.

2) The Last Dance

While we are not really big fans of basketball in the Good Better Best household, who doesn't love Michael Jordan? We are a few episodes behind but we are really loving this documentary. I for one am really fascinated by the business of sports. If you are looking for a new series to binge, check out The Last Dance.

3) Christophe Robin Purifying Salt Scrub for Hair

One thing that I have been trying to do during safe at home orders is try out some of the beauty samples I have in my bathroom cabinet. Besties, I have a lot of beauty clutter and I am bound and determined to either try it or toss it this month. One product that I received a sample of somewhere along the line is this salt scrub...for your hair.

I was both intrigued and cautious about this product. It feels like a body scrub when you put it in your hands but then it lathers like a shampoo. It is a really Good treatment product and I ended up really liking it.

4) At Home Hack for Grey Hair

I got lucky with my hair. We were supposed to have a family wedding the weekend of March 20th, so I had a hair appointment scheduled for the weekend of March 13. This was when we were still just in the phase of if you are sick, stay home. My hair has been looking pretty Good through all of this. A lot of this I attribute to Moroccan Oil shampoo and conditioner

What I started to notice last week was that my greys were popping up and starting to show up in the daily photos I was taking for the Get Dressed Challenge. Hey, grey hair...no one invited you to Get Dressed Challenge. Fact is, I really don't want to take matters into my own hands and do anything permanent or semi permanent. This week, I decided that I would look into if I could use a little dark brown eye shadow to quickly and temporarily cover the greys in the part of my hair.  You know what...it worked!

I went through the beauty clutter...see above and found the right shade of dark brown that covered the greys. I started a little lighter but ended up using a dark brown shade that I would probably use to softly line my eyes.  Are you ready for the before and after?

Tuesday--grey in the part

Wednesday--grey is gone

5) Mrs. Myers Fresh Cut Grass

Even before the pandemic I have been a big fan of Mrs. Myers products.  I really love the seasonal scents and for spring they have fresh cut grass.  It's the perfect scent for spring. I mean if we are going to have to wash our hands all the time and clean the counters, we can at least use something that smells Good

I get all of these types of products through Grove, Grove has been such a Good addition to our house especially during the pandemic. If you want to try Grove you can get a free gift set with your first order. You can try it here

I am wishing you all a very happy Mother's Day. I know Mother's Day can touch for some people if you have lost your mom or you want to be mom and you are not there. If that is the case, then I am sending you a virtual hug. Also sending a virtual hug to my mom.

In addition, be sure to check out my instagram tomorrow as I am going to announce the winner of my drawing for a free Ever Whiplash mascara for all the ladies who participated in the Get Dressed Challenge
