Friday Favorites: Mother's Day Gift Ideas During a Pandemic

Mother's Day from Heather Stillufsen. Shop on Etsy and Amazon ...

Hey Besties! We made it to Friday. Whew. Here we are in a new month of the pandemic. The weather is getting Better and the weekend is finally here. As I do on most Fridays I am linking up with ErikaAndreaNarci to share what is bringing me Joy this week.

Today, since we are just about 8 days away from Mother's Day  I am sharing a few Mother's Day gifting ideas for you in this pandemic with a special focus on women owned businesses.

This Mother's Day is tricky I know. No one can really go anywhere and mail is slow, so we all have to do our Best for our mom's this year.

1) Mint and Ivy

My friend Abbey owns a gifting company called Mint and Ivy and has both ready to gift and custom ideas for you this Mother's Day. She can help you pull together a custom idea like the one above or you can give your favorite mama a travel cocktail set, even if she is only going to enjoy on her back patio.

Abbey has an entire Mother's Day collection you can choose from on her site. The Best part? Through May 5th you can save 10% with the promo code MOM10. You can reach out directly at hello@mintandivy.com.

Beauty Counter

Does your favorite mom need a little pampering but no one can go to a spa right now? Beauty Counter has some clean beauty options that would be a Good call right now.

With all of the hand washing we are doing right now, luxurious hand cream is a really Good gift for anyone right now. This trio is only $34 and both a luxury and a necessity in today's pandemic.

Another Good gifting idea from Beauty Counter is the Rosewood Lip Trio.  These universal shades will make your mom look Zoom perfect and ready for the next Get Dressed Challenge

Need some additional clean beauty ideas? Check out the Mother's Day page  and all new clients can receive 20% off.  Order by today to get guaranteed Mother's Day shipping.

Stella & Dot

Stella & Dot with Keep Collective have some really Good personalized options for Mother's Day. I am gifting several of these bracelets lately and they are a Good way to let someone know you are thinking of them. Whether it is your mom, your wife (hint gentlemen) or your sister, this bracelet with engraved charm comes in silver, gold or rose gold tone is the perfect way to let someone know you they are the Best

Do you have a friend or relative that has a new baby and cannot have anyone over due to the pandemic? You could engrave this bracelet with the baby's name or monogram. Here is a fun and safe way to get it to them. Take it out of the gift box, slip it into the card in the plastic sleeve, place two stamps on it and mail it. Voila! A way to let her know you are thinking of her on her first Mother's Day.

If you need other ideas you can reach out to my friend Susanne and she can give you some really Good Stella & Dot ideas.

General Ideas

Another Good idea at this time if you are tight on time due to shipping delays is to either include a photo of an item you purchased in a Mother's Day card or just let her know that there is a little treat coming her way and surprise her. I think everyone understands about the shipping delays during this situation.

Feel free to share any ideas you have for Mother's Day gifting this year in the comments below. Hope you have the Best weekend!

  3. I have often used a photo of a gift when it's delayed or in my son's case we've ordered him a book that hasn't even been released yet. It's a great way to let them know that you didn't forget.
