Friday Favorites-Hello May

Why hello May! When did you get here? It's Friday so I am linking up with ErikaAndreaNarci for Friday Favorites and sharing what is bringing me Joy this week.

1) DIY Topiaries

Earlier in the week I shared the topiaries I made Easter weekend for our front porch. I love topiaries and have been wanting some for our front porch. I kinda hit the jackpot at Home Depot and TJ Maxx and got everything I needed to make my own. You can learn about how you, yes you, can make similar topiaries here

2) Crazy Aarons Thinking Putty

Ok, I might be the last person to know about Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty but it is the Best. My co-worker bought me some and even chose it for me in pink. It's like a big mound of Silly Putty and it is so cool. I like to take a smaller portion of the putty and just kind of leave it out on my desk for during the day. It even changes color with the warmth of your hands.  I hear they even have smaller sizes as well.

3) Italian Rose by Bobbi Brown

If you have been around this blog for even a minute you know I love a pinky brown lipstick. Like I own a million of them. Lately I have been liking more of a rose tone and have been looking at Italian Rose by Bobbi Brown. I have been trying to work on my clean beauty game but I am not 100% there yet.  This is a really Good rose tone for spring and honestly I think for any time of the year. Not quite red, not quite pink.

4) Costco Pesto

If you have not tried the Kirkland pesto sold in the refrigerated section you just flat out should. I have been buying this for years and buy two at a time when I do a Costco run. When I don't have it in the house, it's honestly a little bit of a challenge. I know when I have it in the house and I am stumped for dinner or just plain tired, I know I can always make chicken pesto pasta. Hockey Guy loves it on grilled chicken. It's so darn Good.

5) Roasted Peeps

Now I know that Peeps are a very polarizing treat. Even if you don't like a Peep straight out of the package(and I am one of those people), I highly recommend that you try one slightly roasted over the fire pit. The sugar caramelizes like a creme brule' and then the inside is like a roasted marshmallow. Just don't over-roast.  Give it a try and report back! I promise you they are Good.

Have the Best weekend my GoodBetterBesties!

  2. I LOVE that pesto. It is such a big jar that I end up freezing in ice cube trays and warming up a few cubes when I need them.
