Hey hey Friday! I cannot believe it is the first of November but I a glad to see November. It's actually a month I really love.  I am linking up with The Blended BlogErikaNarci and Andrea for Friday Favorites for a quick list of what is bringing me Joy.

1) Red Sox Win

In case you missed it, the Red Sox won the World Series. It has been so fun to watch them this year. It's a little hard for me to bond with this team. You see, David Ortiz aka Big Papi is probably my favorite Red Sox of all time and he retired last year. Big Papi and I had a Good thing going for about 15 years and now it's time for me to find a favorite new Red Sox. Regardless after so many years growing up of having the Red Sox break our collective Boston hearts, it's so much Better to see them win.

2) Nordstrom Cardigan

I love the look of a long cardigan, on other people. I find that most of the time, maybe because I am not that tall, a long cardigan looks like it is wearing me. So often then are bathrobe like and Running Daddy and Hockey Guy tell me to return them. This cardigan from BP at Nordstrom is the prefect solution. It has the longer length, but is cut slimmer and rounded thus helps combat that bathrobe look. The material is super soft and it comes in several colors. The blue feather color that I grabbed last week is on super sale. It's a perfect fall staple.

3) Hallmark Shirt

I had to do it. I just had to. If you have been around this blog for even a minute, you know that I love the Hallmark Channel. It is one of the things that brings me the most Joy in every day life. When no less than three people tagged me on Facebook when shirts like this were popping up, I knew I really wanted one.

I found this one on Etsy and decided to buy this for myself as a reward for working so hard this election season. I mean, since I bought it now...I can get a good two months wear out of it. And if I really push it, because it is not that Christmassy...I could wear it into the winter after Christmas. I cannot wait to bust this out over the weekend and settle in for some Hallmark fun.  One of the premier movies this weekend is called "Christmas Joy"...how could I not watch that?

4) Southern Living

Speaking of ways I am planning to chill out this weekend, after we got back from Hilton Head I renewed my Southern Living subscription for the first time in many years. Running Daddy gets Garden and Gun but that is a totally different vibe. It's a Good vibe, but different. I am looking forward to a little down time this weekend and getting inspired by Southern Living when I am not watching the Hallmark Channel.

That's what I have this week. I am so happy it's the weekend and we actually have a low key weekend on tap.

Have the Best weekend!

  4. I have two of those BP cardigans. I tried to get a red one when it was on sale last week but it sold out too quickly.
