Friday Favorites: Dress Shirts from Mill No. 8, Good Lasagna, Better Bedding, Red Cups and Joy

What a week where went from Halloween to the early start of the holiday season. Today I am here to link up with ErikaNarci and Andrea for Friday Favorites. Here's what I am finding Joy in this week.

1) Custom Dress Shirts by Mill No. 8

2) Good Gluten Free Lasagna

I have a confession to make, I used to make really bad lasagna. It was really one of those things that I used to make and it always turned out meh. Then I didn't make any type of lasagna for years, because well...gluten free. Late this summer I saw these gluten free lasgna noodles in the grocery store and since they were from Italy I figured they should be pretty Good. It was chilly on Sunday night so I decided to give lasgna another try. It was so Good. The noodles are no boil and I just followed on directions on the package. In true Good Better Best style, I added an organic marinara sauce and seasoned the ricotta with the Rustic Herb Seasoning from Tastefully Simple to give some interest. This lasgna was even Better heated up as a quick dinner before trick or treating on Tuesday night. I think leftover lasgna is so Good.

Finally Good Lasagna

3) Better Bedding

Running Daddy and I desperately needed some new bedding in our room. Ours was about 11 years old and while it was Good quality bedding, it was starting to basically fall apart and look bad. Sometimes Running Daddy has very strong opinions about these projects, but this time he didn't care. I once again went with a light blue but this version has some silver weaved through it. It is beautiful and luxurious.

4) Starbucks Red Cups/Peppermint Mocha

Red cups filled with peppermint mochas hit Starbucks on Wednesday. While I haven't had my first peppermint mocha of the season, it just gives me Joy to know that they are available. I am one of those people that actually likes a peppermint mocha more than a PSL. And to all of you Joy killers who think it is too early in the season...

5) JOY sign

Speaking of Christmas and Joy, Hockey Guy and I walked into a store the other day and saw this Joy display.  He told me I needed it for my Good Better Best office. It's awesome but it might be a little big to fit through the door.

So these are my favorites for this week.  Hope everyone has a Good weekend.

I am getting ready to do some Thanksgiving posts, so if there is anything in particular you want me to blog about, drop me a note in the comments below.

  1. Wow! Those gluten free noodles sound amazing AND you are so right about leftover/reheated lasagna- even better than the first day it is made! Also, I agree with Hockey Guy- you need that sign! Have a great weekend :)

  2. I have a tough time with lasagne too--I'll have to look for that gluten free noodle! Wheat can be too heavy for me! Love that JOY sign!
