Happy Friday Besties. While I have been here on the site, it's been a couple of weeks since my last Friday Favorites. I have been shopping and trying to shop small as much as I can.  TodayI am linking up with up with ErikaAndreaNarci to share the things that have brought me Joy this week

1) Mrs. Meyers Plumberry Body Lotion

I have been working really hard over the last year to clean up my beauty game. I have really been loving the body lotion from Mrs. Meyers. I used the rain water scent in late summer and that was a Good choice. For fall and winter, I chose plumberry and it is the perfect light spicy fruit scent for this time of year.

I get product such as this from Grove on a monthly basis. They have really Good customer service and in these COVID times, it is really nice to have cleaning and clean personal care items dropped right to your doorstep.

2) Quince Cashmere

Some years I feel like all of my sweaters need to be replaced, this would be one of those years. Everyone needs a classic black cashmere sweater and I am partial to the v-neck ones. There are so many options out there and it's hard to know if the $200 cashmere options is really Better than a more value priced one.

I decided to give Quince a try and they have a classic cashmere sweater at right around $50. The cashmere is a Good thick weight and super soft. It pairs perfectly with my camo pants and my ever present lately purple furry slippers.

These cashmere sweaters from Quince would make a perfect holiday gift or gift one to yourself for those chilly work from home days. If you want to save $10 on your first Quince sweater just send me a quick email at goodbetterbestfood@gmail.com and I will send you a coupon for $10 off.

3) USS Christmas

Oh this movie that premiered weekend on Hallmark's Movies & Mysteries. This was a Good one. It has everything I love in a Hallmark movie. Jen Lilley is one of my favorite Hallmark leading ladies. I think she is very funny and as a person in real life, this gal is amazing! This movie also had a total Hallmark Hunk in Trevor Donovan.

The movie has a fun storyline about a tiger cruise which is a real event every year, well maybe not in 2020. This was a really fun one and you should check it out. It is apparently the #1 movie this season on Movies & Mysteries so I am not the only one that loved it!

4) New Christmas Tree

I had been wanting a smaller tree in our family room downstairs and found a really Good option at Michael's in early November. I told Running Daddy we should but it then or else they would be sold out. I was totally right as it was sold out when I was in the store last weekend. So glad I bought this.

We will get our real tree in a few weeks for the living room. I hope that they still have them in stock. The real trees have been going like hot cakes here!

I added in the ribbon which is not something I typically do with our main tree. Hockey Guy did all of the decorations. Hockey Guy also wanted to get his trains out, so I told him it would be fun to run them around this tree in our family room.

We spend so much time in this room that it only makes sense to have a tree in there. I highly recommend multiple Christmas trees in your house! Do you have more than one Christmas tree in your house? Tell me about them in the comments below.

I hope you have the weekend and are enjoying the season. If you are struggling a little bit this season, check out this post I wrote earlier in the week. It may help.

  2. Good to know about that Hallmark movie! It is on my list to watch this weekend. I am on the lookout for some good deals on Christmas trees to add to my collection next year. Have a good weekend!

  3. I love the pencil tree, too! This year is the first time we've had a second tree but World Market had the cutest midcentury modern Christmas houses that I had to buy 3 of them, and to round out the display I had to buy a 60's themed white tree that (when it gets here) I will decorate with very mid-mod ornaments, and possibly some pink. https://www.worldmarket.com/product/wood+mid+century+house+led+light+up+decor+set+of+3.do?sortby=ourPicks&from=fn So this year, for the first time, I will have my home office decorated in style! I am also SO looking forward to watching USS Christmas!

  4. We used to have multiple trees in our house; two large ones in our two living rooms and one small one in each bedroom but through the years as one after the other stopped working (we use artificial trees) we're down to one in our everyday living room and one in my middle son's bedroom. Though I have been on the hunt for one for my bedroom.

  5. I love that pencil tree! We have 2 in our house (both artificial). The main one is large and beside the fireplace in the living room. And then we have a pencil tree kind of 'between' the living room and kitchen (beside the 'behind the couch' table on the kitchen side, next to the wall there). I love it! Next year, I want to put one in our office, in front of the window, as you can see that one from outside. And then we do have 2 small ones outside on either side of our front door.
