My Guest Spot on the Hallmark Channel Podcast

I am taking a departure today from the Friday Favorites to tell you all about a very fun opportunity I had this week. I hinted at this on Wednesday, but now I can finally share this fun news. Earlier this week I was a guest on The Bubbly Sesh which is now the official podcast/hosts of the Hallmark Channel. I kid you not!

If you know me personally or have been around this blog for even a hot minute, you know that I love the Hallmark Channel. I mean not in the I watch the Christmas movies way...I watch the Hallmark Channel all the time, all year and have since about 2012. My name is Patty...and I am a Hallmark Channel super fan!

Thankful Thursdays-Gratitude in the Tough Seasons

 Hi GoodBetterBesties! We are at the end of March and it is time for Thankful Thursdays. I will admit when Holly and I were coming up with the topics for the year, I came up with March. I wasn't totally sure what I meant by Gratitude Even When Winter is Too Long when I wrote it, and even last week I wasn't sure if people would know what I meant. Then it donned on me today, that the place that I am at, I am longing for the gratitude when the seasons of life are a little too much.

 What We are Eating This Week

Monday-Grilled pork chops, brown rice and broccoli

Tuesday-Roasted shrimp, jasmine rice, roasted peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes

Wednesday-Not sure yet. Maybe pancakes, bacon and berries. Maybe turkey burgers and hot dogs.

Thursday-Running Daddy is about to do his 38th marathon this weekend so I need to carb him up. We will do a little chicken pesto pasta.

Friday-Pizza night!

Better Beauty with Beautycounter Part 1: Tell Me About Beautycounter

My dear friend Amy Mac reached out to me a few weeks ago to see if I wanted to give Beautycounter a try. Beautycounter is a health and beauty company founded six years ago to provider safer beauty to everyone. I had dipped my toe into Beautycounter a little bit and tried a few products in the past but Amy gave me the opportunity to try a few more products as we get ready for spring. I will give my review and tips on those products in part two of this post, but today I wanted to do a little interview with Amy so you can learn more about Beautycounter.

1) A Night on Broadway Auction Table

Every year our school hosts an auction and we decorate our tables. This year's theme was A Night on Broadway and our table theme was Cats. We were not the only Cats table but that is ok. My dry ice didn't work out exactly how I wanted it to but we had a lot of fun anyway.
