It's last Wednesday of the month and so much has been going on in May. So it's time for What's Up Wednesday with MelShaeffer, and Shay. Pour a coffee, sparkling water or wine and let's get to it.

Monday: Turkey burgers, grass fed beef burgers and hot dogs with tomato mozzarella salad

Tuesday: Turkey bolognese with salad

Wednesday: Sausage and polenta with roasted zucchini

Thursday: Roasted salmon, baby red potatoes and green beans

Royal Wedding Recap: Markle Sparkle and We Heart Harry

This weekend we all got to attend the wedding of really good friends in Windsor. I mean it felt like we were friends with them because the whole thing was so filled with love and Joy. The entire world watched them yet it felt like we were all a part of this. Meghan, like a lot of people, had to deal with some family drama the week of her wedding, but unfortunately the whole world was talking about her family drama. When the wedding day rolled around, love won the day (it usually does) and even Prince Charles was starting to make me like him with not one, but two very kind gestures on Saturday.

There were so many things to love that day but here are the Best parts of the wedding day for me.

Mother's Day Joy at the Ronald McDonald House

On Saturday morning, I loaded up my car with Keep Collective bracelets and headed to the Ronald McDonald House to help spread a little Joy to the moms spending Mother's Day there. All of this Joy was made possible by a group of my girlfriends and some amazing readers of Good Better Best. When my friend Susanne and I started talking about this idea, I never thought we would sell out this quickly. We gifted all thirty three moms at both Ronald McDonald Houses in the Washington, DC area in three days!

I have some of the Best women in my life and those ladies and the readers of this blog came through in a big way. My sister jumped in and paid for all of this beautiful gift wrapping. I honestly believe that there is nothing Better than the kindness of strangers.
