1) The Hayden Dress
It was crazy hot here last weekend. When I got home after hitting Barre and the grocery store all I wanted to do was put on something cool and comfortable. I grabbed my pink and green Hayden dress that I picked up from the Best little shop around the corner called Top It Off. They have fantastic jewelry, clothing and accessories. They are based in both Boston and Virginia...no wonder I like them so much and their outlet is in our neighborhood.
The Hayden dress is the Best for when you just want to throw something on but still look cute. It is a Good option for running errands too.
2) Good News on the Lupus Front:
This week GlaxoSmithKline announced they would be building a new $139 million facility in Maryland to increase production of Benlysta, the lupus drug I am on as well as manufacture the injectible version once they have FDA approval. According to the article, they think they will have approval in the second half of this year. Having this medication in an injectible format would make my life so much Better. 3) Alex and Ani Mary Bracelet:
Tuesday night we had our elections for the Parent Teacher Organization at school. I am about to finish up four years on the Executive Committee and they gave me this beautiful Mary bracelet from Alex and Ani. I am semi obsessed with it. Honestly I never expected something like this and this will be such a special piece for me.
I had heard of Alex and Ani but didn't really know much about it. Since Tuesday night I bought two other special ladies in my life Alex and Ani gifts. I so love supporting a woman owned business headquartered in New England.
This beautiful bracelet comes in silver and gold and is the Best gift for Mother's Day, graduation, First Communion or Confirmation.
4) and 5) Pineapples Everywhere!
Is it me or are there pineapples everywhere? Pineapples in spring fashion and pineapples for home decor. From ice buckets to bathing suits here are my favorite pineapples I found this week.

I came across this cute bucket in Target today in Bullseye's Playground.

Pineapple wine tumblers like this are all the rage right now. I got two for Christmas and love using them on Friday nights for wine.
Finish off with this ice bucket and Tervis tumblers and you are ready for the perfect night on the patio...pineapple style.
